Aptos, named after the Ohlone tribes word for “the people”, is situated in between Santa Cruz and Watsonville on California’s central coast. Aptos is home to both the Forest of Nisene Marks State Park and Seacliff State Beach California state parks. With a stretch of beach that goes for miles and the Forest of Nisene Marks State Park offering up hiking and mountain biking trails, it’s easy to see why people flock from around the world to spend time here.
 
The restaurant scene in Aptos has all bases covered, from multi-generational family owned Mexican restaurant, Manuels, to a Michelin rated chef’s pizza and pasta spot. Tourists and locals alike love sitting on the bluff at Seascape Resort while imbibing in a cocktail.
